Getting Started

Questions about opening an account, using your UK address, and how parcel forwarding works.

What does UK Worldwide Forwarding do?

UK Worldwide Forwarding gives you a UK delivery address so you can shop from UK retailers and have your purchases forwarded internationally.

Once your items arrive at our warehouse, they are added to your account. From there, you can choose to ship them individually or consolidate multiple parcels together before forwarding.

How do I get my UK delivery address?

After creating an account, you will receive your UKWF delivery details, including your customer reference or forwarding ID. This reference is important because it helps us match incoming parcels to your account quickly and accurately.

Can I use my UKWF address with any UK retailer?

In most cases, yes. You can use your UKWF address when checking out with UK retailers that deliver within the UK.

You should always make sure your customer reference is included correctly in the delivery details so your parcel can be allocated to your account when it arrives.

Do I need to be logged in to use my account and portal?

Yes. Your account portal is where you manage incoming parcels, select forwarding options, request consolidation, and access services linked to your account.

Incoming Parcels

Questions about what happens when your parcels arrive at the warehouse.

What happens when my parcel arrives at your warehouse?

Once your parcel is received and processed, it is added to your UKWF portal inside your account. You can then review your available parcels and choose what to do next.

How will you know a parcel belongs to me?

We use your customer reference or forwarding ID to identify incoming shipments. This is why it is very important to include it correctly when entering your UK delivery address with the retailer.

Will each parcel appear separately in my account?

Yes. Incoming retailer shipments are logged as separate parcel entries in your account unless and until you choose to combine them through a consolidation service.

Can you receive multiple parcels for me from different stores?

Yes. You can send multiple orders from the same retailer or from different retailers to your UKWF address. Once received, they will be processed into your account and can later be shipped separately or consolidated, depending on your preference.

Shipping & Consolidation

Questions about forwarding, shipping quotes, and combining parcels to save money.

What is parcel consolidation?

Parcel consolidation means combining multiple incoming parcels into one shipment before forwarding internationally.

This can reduce total shipping volume and help lower your international shipping cost, especially if you have ordered from several UK retailers.

Do I have to consolidate my parcels?

No. Consolidation is optional. You can choose to ship parcels individually or combine them where it makes sense for cost and efficiency.

How do I know how much shipping will cost?

You can use our shipping calculator to get an estimate of forwarding costs. Final shipping charges depend on factors such as destination, parcel dimensions, weight, courier availability, and selected services.

Does your personal shopping quote include international shipping?

No. Personal shopping quotes cover the item cost, UK domestic delivery to our warehouse where applicable, and the UKWF personal shopping fee.

International shipping, optional parcel services, duties, and taxes are charged separately later through the normal forwarding process.

Customs, Duties & Restrictions

Questions about import charges, prohibited items, and customer responsibility.

Will I need to pay customs duties or taxes?

Possibly. Customs duties, taxes, and import fees depend on the destination country and the contents and declared value of your shipment.

These charges are the customer’s responsibility and are not included unless clearly stated otherwise.

Can you ship every item internationally?

No. Some items are restricted or prohibited depending on the courier, destination country, and the nature of the goods.

You should review our prohibited or restricted items guidance before ordering, especially for categories such as liquids, aerosols, batteries, food, cosmetics, and high-value regulated goods.

Am I responsible for checking whether an item can be imported into my country?

Yes. Customers are responsible for ensuring that items can legally be imported into their destination country and for paying any associated customs charges, taxes, or import fees.

Personal Shopping

Questions about our UK Personal Shopping Service for customers who cannot purchase directly from UK retailers.

What is the UKWF Personal Shopping Service?

Our Personal Shopping Service allows UK Worldwide Forwarding to purchase items from UK retailers on your behalf if you are unable to complete the purchase yourself.

This is useful if a UK retailer does not accept your payment method, does not ship internationally, or makes overseas checkout difficult.

How does personal shopping work?

You submit your request through our personal shopping request form with the item details and product links.

We review the request and, if approved, email you a quote. That quote includes the retailer item cost, UK domestic delivery to our warehouse where applicable, and our personal shopping service fee.

Once payment has been received, we purchase the approved item or items on your behalf. When they arrive, they are added to your UKWF portal inside your account.

How much does personal shopping cost?

We charge a 10% personal shopping service fee, with a minimum fee of £10 per request.

This fee is shown clearly in your quote before anything is purchased.

How do I pay for personal shopping?

Personal shopping orders are prepaid only. If your request is approved, we will email you instructions to pay by Wise or bank transfer.

We only purchase items once cleared payment has been received.

Can I request more than one item or more than one store in a single request?

Yes. You can include multiple items in a single request, including products from the same retailer or from different UK retailers.

Can I get a refund after you have purchased my items?

Once UKWF has purchased item or items on your behalf, the order is non-refundable through UKWF.

If a retailer accepts returns, we may be able to assist at our discretion, but this is not guaranteed and additional fees may apply.

Payments & Support

Questions about payment methods, timing, and how to get help.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment methods can vary depending on the service. For parcel forwarding and standard account services, your available payment options will be shown in the relevant part of your account or checkout flow.

For personal shopping specifically, payment is by Wise or bank transfer only.

How quickly will my parcel appear in my account after delivery?

Processing times can vary depending on warehouse workload and the information provided with the shipment, but parcels are added to your account after they have been received and processed by our team.
